Thomas Han, D.D.S., M.S.
Periodontics
Dr. Thomas J. Han received his DDS degree in 1982, Certified in Periodontics in 1984, and MS degree in Oral Biology in 1985 from the UCLA School of Dentistry. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry, and the International Congress of Oral Implantology.
As a Clinical Professor of the Ostrow School of Dentistry at USC, Department of Periodontics, his responsibility is post-doctoral resident periodontal and implant surgical training. Dr. Han’s expertise is in minimally invasive approaches to dental implant and periodontal esthetic surgeries.
Dr. Han is featured as a “Southern California 2015 Super Dentist” in Los Angeles Magazine.

Dr. Thomas K. Lee, D.D.S.
Prosthodontist
Dr. Thomas K. Lee grew up in the Chicago area and received his BA from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL, followed by his DDS from the University of Illinois, College of Dentistry in Chicago, IL. He completed his General Practice Residency (Hospital Dentistry) training in Fresno, CA at the University Medical Center. He practiced as a general dentist in Sacramento for a year before furthering his training at the UCLA School of Dentistry in Advanced Prosthodontics.
Upon finishing his prosthodontics training, Dr. Lee was appointed as the director of the Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD), a post-DDS residency at UCLA. Dr. Lee recently retired from UCLA, having served as the Director of 2 AEGD programs, Endowed Chair & Director of the Wilson Jennings Bloomfield UCLA Venice Dental Center, and Director of Restorative Advanced Clinical Training program. Dr. Lee has given numerous lectures at various conferences and has led numerous study clubs for many years.
Dr. Lee is now pleased to join the WPD with emphasis in occlusion, reconstructive & implant dentistry in providing the best dental care for patients.
Hannah Misook Hong, D.D.S.

Dr. Hannah Misook Hong is a trusted cosmetic, implant, and general dentist who has dedicated her career to delivering healthy, confident smiles with precision and compassion. A graduate of the UCLA School of Dentistry (2005), she combines nearly two decades of experience with a passion for advanced dental innovation.
Her philosophy of care is rooted in a comprehensive, interdisciplinary approach that unites science with artistry. Dr. Hong doesn’t treat a single tooth-she sees the whole person, considering the harmony of function, occlusion, and esthetics. Each patient receives a comprehensive exam and individualized treatment plan designed to restore health, function, and natural beauty.
Dr. Hong also believes that excellence begins with the fundamentals. She takes even the most routine procedures-such as simple cavity filling treatments, crowns, and gum treatments seriously, elevating them to a level of precision and artistry that is often overlooked. Her meticulous attention to detail ensures that every restoration, no matter how small, contributes to long-term health, comfort, and esthetic harmony.
Over time, Dr. Hong has developed a wide armamentarium of techniques and technologies that enable her to offer patients a broad range of options and creative solutions for challenging cases-always striving for the best possible outcome.
She has pursued extensive continuing education and advanced training, including Composite Mastery and Veneer Mastery of minimally invasive esthetic transformations. She is also trained in implant dentistry, both surgical placement and restoration. In addition, she offers limited and short-term orthodontics with mini tubes and holds certifications in Invisalign and ClearCorrect giving patients flexible orthodontic and cosmetic options.
Dr. Hong provides a full scope of dentistry, including preventive care, root canal therapy, wisdom tooth extractions, smile design, occlusion, and TMD, patients receiving truly comprehensive care.
She has been serving patients at WPD since 2016.

Dr. Chung, DDS
Board-Qualified Orofacial Pain Specialist
Dr. Chung’s path to dentistry reflects a deep commitment to serving others through healthcare. Born in Michigan and raised across diverse communities—from Riverside to Clemson, South Carolina, and South Korea—Dr. Chung developed an appreciation for connecting with people from all backgrounds.
After completing undergraduate studies at the University of Washington in Seattle, Dr. Chung worked for two years as a sterilization technician and backup assistant in a dental office. This hands-on experience revealed dentistry’s unique power to create positive, lasting impacts while building lifelong patient relationships—ultimately convincing Dr. Chung to pursue this rewarding career path.
Military Service & Training
As a recipient of the highly selective and prestigious Navy Healthcare Scholarship, Dr. Chung graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) School of Dental Medicine and served in the United States Navy for five years. During this time, Dr. Chung gained extensive clinical experience and received mentorship from exceptional mentors. While treating hundreds of chronic TMJ patients during military service, Dr. Chung discovered a passion for orofacial pain—ultimately leading to two additional years of rigorous formal residency training at the prestigious University of Southern California (USC).
During residency, Dr. Chung completed rotations at the world-renowned Keck School of Medicine across multiple specialties: head and neck surgery, neurology, rheumatology, pain management, pain psychology, physical therapy, and sleep medicine. This interdisciplinary training provided a comprehensive understanding of how to deliver coordinated, collaborative care for complex pain conditions.
This specialized training, combined with over 1,500 hours of continuing education—including courses at the prestigious Dawson Academy and Spear Education—has honed Dr. Chung’s expertise in complex restorative procedures and advanced surgical skills.
